Level I Beginner Class
Just as a building needs to start with a strong foundation to withstand the test of time, so too your yoga practice needs to grow from a stable foundation of both knowledge and practice that will help sustain you through the inevitable ups and downs of life. Whether you are just beginning your journey with yoga, or whether you are somewhere in between, you will experience the fundamental postures that promote flexibility, strength, and balance. Focus your mind through “meditation in action”.
You will learn proper alignment in basic yoga postures (asana), as well as how to modify those postures with the use of props for your body’s unique needs and life circumstances.
Please note: If you have any major injuries or health challenges, please let us know when you register, so that we can modify or suggest a more suitable class for you.
