Community Building

KT side stretchOur vision at Spirit in Motion Yoga is to create a vibrant yoga community (sangha) that brings people together to support each other in the practice of yoga and meditation, and other life enhancing practices.  We are committed to offering community classes and events that are inclusive and open to all regardless of their ability to pay.  To that end we offer two weekly meditation groups as well as a monthly sat sang (chanting) group by donation.  All donations go towards the Community of Christ Church for providing the use of space, as well as various charities like World Accord, a small Canadian charity that works for sustainable development in Nepal and Central America.  We also have a “pay what you can” policy for yoga students who are unemployed or in financial need.

Weekly Meditation Groups (Sangha)

Tuesdays, 1:00-2:30pm (Fall session ends Dec 13th).  Facilitated by Vickie MacArthur

Thursdays, 7:30-8:30am, (Fall session ends Dec 15th).  Facilitated by Rachael Crowder
